“On his robe and on his thigh
he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”
Christ is King.
Words are inadequate to convey the glory of His majesty, the gentleness of His intimacy and the boundless depths of His love. From the soaring heavens to the invisible strings He is Creator and Sustainer of all – a God of beauty, holiness and power.
Before Him every knee will bow yet He kneeled to wash feet. Despised and rejected by men He reached out to others like Him and loved them. He took up our infirmities and sorrows and was brutally given more. He walked amongst us with open arms and was confined within the walls of religion and legalism. He spoke of acceptance and saw rejection.
He is King, Lord, Saviour, Judge and God – yet He is also the friend of sinners who turn to Him.
He is Glory Inconceivable, Power Indescribable, and Love Unimaginable.
He is Lord.
Who really rules my life?
Lord Jesus may Your Kingdom come, Your will be done and Your Name be honoured on earth as it is in heaven – starting with me. Amen.
